Tastes of Italy – At Home Holiday Wine Tasting

With in-person wine tasting presenting challenges during this pandemic, the MIT Enterprise Forum of South Florida is bringing the wine tasting to you. In the year of going virtual we are excited to host a Virtual Holiday Wine Tasting to close out the 2020 year!

Wines will journey to your doorstep and bring a little of Italy to your home for the holidays.  (Event for adults 21+ only)

The wines will be provided through an offering crafted by Wines Til Sold Out (wtso.com) and shipped directly to your home or a nearby FedEx location. They combine a wide range of choices with distribution efficiency to make your purchases of good wines affordable and easy.

We promise an enjoyable informative experience through 3 different wine regions of Italy. Wine Educator Jamaica Bryant will guide you on the visits to Friuli, Piedmont, and Tuscany.

The group tasting will enhance the exploration and knowledge opportunity of the selected grape varietals within these different areas. Whether you are a connoisseur of wines or a casual consumer, the tasting will offer a fun and educational experience and take your taste buds for a trip around Italy.

About Jamaica Bryant:

Jamaica Bryant is a wine educator who believes learning about wine should be active and fun, never pretentious or intimidating. She wants to help you figure out what YOU like to drink. She teaches all about wine via beawineknow.com, from the basics of how to open a bottle and read a wine list, to comparing wines across grapes, regions, and countries.

Ms. Bryant is based in Atlanta and studies wine through the Wine & Spirits Education Trust, and has achieved Level 2 Certification with Distinction. Jamaica also has direct vineyard experience through stints with Paul Hobbs Winery operations in Sonoma County and Napa Valley in California.
