MITEF Geek Tank 5 by Aminta Ventures
Fun and Informative Must-See Event for South Florida Business Community!
It’s like Shark Tank, but the jury is made up of all female angel investors and the teams pitching are all Florida startups with a female founder or top executive!
Aminta Ventures and MIT Enterprise Forum South Florida have teamed up to showcase the best and brightest female entrepreneurs from the region. Four top startups from over 30 submissions will be pitching at Geek Tank 5.
The panel of judges who will select the winner at the event include:
- Mary Anderson, Early Stage Investment Consultant
- Carolina Canida, Co-founder, Cito Ventures
- Johanna Mikkola, Co-founder & Managing Director, Wyncode Academy
The winning startup will receive $15,000 in early stage funding and free exhibition space at unbound Miami 2018. All finalists will also be offered a free one-on-one pitch meeting with Miami Angels, a partner of Aminta Ventures.
This is a ‘must-attend’ event for South Florida’s entrepreneurs, investors, and everyone interested in the coming trends in innovation & technology. In addition to learning about exciting new startups and gaining insights into how angel investors make funding decisions, this year’s audience — for the first time in Geek Tank history — will get to be active participants and vote for their favorite startup in the new People’s Choice category.
See you at CIC on April 18th!
