Volunteer Committee Member
The MIT Enterprise Forum of South Florida is run by an all-volunteer group. Each one of us volunteered in order to contribute to expanding the entrepreneurship spirit in the South Florida Community, meet a lot of interesting people and have fun. And you don’t have to be an MIT alumnus to be part of our team.
Here are a few ways Committee Members can help:
- Events
Have a great idea for an event? Would you like the opportunity to work with a great team and create outstanding content? The Forum puts on between six and ten events per year, plus social gatherings, and is always looking for good volunteers to help plan and execute the events. - Social Media
Do you like to post and make friends on social media? Are you an avid social media user and familiar with basic practices? Would you like to lead interesting conversations about entrepreneurship and build a community online? Then our Social Media committee can be a fun and rewarding position for you to get involved with the MIT Enterprise Forum. - Copywriter
Do you enjoy writing blogs and creating engaging content online? Are you interested in writing about entrepreneurship, technology, and MIT related topics? Are you pretty good at writing? - Public Relations
Are you a Public Relations professional? Do you love finding creative ways to gain earned media exposure and bring awareness to a cause or organization? Are you looking to expand your network and experience in PR?
